We're Coming Out of This Thing!

To our brothers and sisters in Christ:

These have been trying times around the world, via the COVID-19 and all its physical, emotional and financial aftermath. Please keep these things in mind:

1. This disease is NOT from our good Father.

Whatever steals, kills and destroys is the work of the destroyer, the devil (John 10:10; Luke 9:56; Revelation 9:11). The curse is in the earth, and unless one lives in the Lord's redemption and protection it will affect anyone on earth. But Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law! Repent of any wrongdoing, trust in the Lord, follow His leadings, and you will be safe.

2. God is our Source.

God provided for His people miraculously, even spectacularly in the most bleak of circumstances: food brought by ravens, manna from heaven, etc. If we rely on Him and follow His leadings, He will take care of us. And not just by allowing us to survive-- The Lord caused Isaac to reap a hundred-fold in the same year, during a famine. He has not changed.

3. We are His witnesses.

When others panic, we can have peace. We can rest in the midst of turmoil. Our motto is NOT, "When in danger, when in doubt-- run in circles, scream and shout." This is because we know in Whom we have believed and are fully persuaded that He is able to keep us. There are a great many who do not know Him, or how to hear from Him, or anything about genuine faith. We must set the example for them: walking in faith and in love 24/7/365; being gracious instead of "grabbing" what we can like unbelievers; and being ready to patiently share with others how God really IS THE answer to it all.

4. We are over-comers!

Thanks be to God, Who ALWAYS causes us to triumph (2 Corinthians 2:14). In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us (Romans 8:37). Refuse to entertain or consider anything except complete, overwhelming Victory!! This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

This is just a speed-bump in the road of life. Keep your eyes on what is eternal. Love and pray for one another.
