Currently semi-retired from the traditional work force, John Jeffries served for over a decade as a counter-intelligence officer, special agent, intelligence analyst and German linguist. He performed national security investigations and intelligence special operations on four continents in the areas of espionage, sabotage, terrorism, subversion, VIP protection and active intelligence collection. Jeffries was recognized by the Commanding General, US Army - Europe as a leading authority on international and transnational terrorism. Two of his counter-espionage investigations in the European theater landed in the Oval Office, to be approved as full-blown covert special operations which he subsequently spearheaded.

 

Currently working with his wife, Carol on degrees in theology and Bible studies, John has degrees in marketing management and paralegal studies.

Moving to the Branson, Missouri area in December 2014, Jeffries found an ideal environment for a writer: peace, tranquility, a tourist area ripe with characters, an inspiring setting... The local residents proved to be overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. The approximately half-dozen "grumps" probably were only having a bad day.

The Jeffries immediately hooked up with Faith Life Church, pastored by Keith and Phyllis Moore. They found the anointing and gifts of those two ideally suited to their spiritual growth.
