Stuck in a Rut?

Whatever you do in life, whether in business, the marketplace, ministry or politics-- do everything with intensity. What is required is courage, conviction, and a plan plus faith in and obedience to the Lord. You must be all in or all out.

If you are luke-warm you become a hazard to yourself and to others. “Warm” and “cool” are but opposite ends of luke-warm. Give me a person who is on fire already, or who is ice cold that I can help get fired up.

It is true that you will serve inevitably somebody in the long run: either almighty God or the devil. Nothing in the Word of God is a suggestion; all are commands. The only thing you have to do in the morning in order to be selfish and self-centered is simply to wake up. The rest takes work.

Without believing there can be no receiving. In other words, what God offers by His grace, you must receive by your faith. When I turn on a light switch I expect (have faith) that the light will turn on. Once it is already on there is no place for that faith.

Whenever our Father reaches down with His hand to guide us across the street, we must not be like belligerent little children and jerk our hands back (“I can do it myself!”). That is how one becomes a hood ornament.
