Are You REALLY Faithful?

1. A faithful person will always tell the truth, even to his own hurt. He will not lie, deceive, or twist facts to suit his purpose. If you have done any of this, repent and be free. The truth will cost you far less in the long run. Proverbs 14:15

2. A faithful person will always keep a confidence. There will be no running off at the mouth in gossip. The faithful person will never share anything told in confidence to even one other person without permission. Rather he will always be trustworthy in small things, in other people's things. Proverbs 11:13; Luke 16:All, 1 Corinthians 4:1.

3. A faithful person will always do the boss's work the boss's way in the boss's time. Whether it is work on the job, volunteerism or helping a friend, if you just go and do it your way without prior approval, you are being unfaithful. That supervisor is ultimately responsible for the outcome. Note: Diligence does not equal faithfulness. Matthew 22:20; Malachi 3:6; Matthew 23:23.

If you won't submit to earthly authority, then you won't submit to God. If you hate your fellow man, you can't love God. There is no such thing as being faithful without being submitted.

Listen to the voice whispering into your ear. The devil cannot hide his nature; in short order sounds of rebellion and disrespect will come out. Submit to God; resist the devil and he will flee from you. Without the first part, the second part won't work.

All Scriptures are "and verses following."
