Where is your trust?

Where really is your trust? The election of 2016 was a major game-changer for the nation. The bright light shining in what was a growing darkness came in response to the prayers of faith of countless followers of Jesus, the Christ.

There can be little question that the team of Donald J. Trump and Michael Pence, together with their selectees for the Administration came as a miraculous response to those prayers. POTUS and company were raised up for such a tumultous time as this in the history of this great nation. The election itself and all the accomplishments for the good of the country in a remarkably short time frame testify to that fact.

Yet we can easily make the mistake of believing that the answer to our prayers is completely embodied in President Trump. No, the answer was and is embodied in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The opposition clearly does not understand this simple matter. In their finite minds success in "taking out" POTUS will resolve their dilemma and allow them to put the nation back on track to its destruction. God has others in support of His mission, with still others waiting in the wings should they be needed in this phase of a war that is as old as time itself. DJT is not held out as the be-all to end-all in making America great again.

The plotters and schemers will be exposed to the brightest light of day, and their weapons will be of no significant effect over the long run.

The key lies in the faithful remnant of believers who are dedicated pursuant to 2 Chronicles 7:14 to remain on our knees and faces in repentance for the sins of the nation, asking for His blessing and the healing of the land. It lies in our willingness to stand in formation in full uniform and wearing our spiritual armor, ready willing and able to step out on His command.

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." ~ 2 Chronicles 7:14
