Expect a Miracle!

How do you KNOW you expect a miracle? No matter what kind of miracle it is, there will be present a sense of excitement. No excitement -- no expectation.

You cannot simply do what you read in the Bible and get the results they did. Jesus Himself said that He only did what He saw the Father do. When He had the stone rolled away at Lazarus' tomb the crowd was watching Him. The focus was wrong. That is why He looked heavenward and prayed aloud. Their focus was drawn heavenward as well. The method is not "it," rather Jesus as the risen Lord is. We must get out of our own heads and get into the Holy Spirit within us.

You cannot separate faith from being led by the Spirit. Simply saying "I believe ___" will not guarantee results.

Never pressure someone else to meet your needs... they are not your Savior. Faith is of the heart and not the head. Again: Got faith? -- then you're excited!

NOTE: These notes were impressed upon me during a sermon by Keith Moore, who always uses an abundance of Scripture in context to back up the points made.
