"You'd better prop this baby up

like a rag doll on a shelf.

You say you want this boy to walk?

Never do it by himself."

They put their hands upon my head

then said a prayer of faith.

At nine months old got to my feet

started walkin' every place!

This ain't made up, it sure ain't phony

I'm just givin' testimony.

My son, he had a heart attack;

in the transport had another.

"Say goodbye: he ain't comin' back,"

the doctor told his mother.

I told the devil: "Let him go!

That lost boy I claim for God!"

Just six months later - "weakened heart?"

he was right back on the job.

This ain't made up, it sure ain't phony

I'm just givin' testimony.

My momma fought with cancer,

it was bigger than my fist.

Her spirit left her on the table,

she was on the "deceased" list.

The doc's came out a-dancin' hard,

for they knew it wasn't they.

She stayed with us a dozen years,

no cancer from that day.

This ain't made up, it sure ain't phony

I'm just givin' testimony.

A two-lane road I didn't mind.

SUV in front - SUV behind.

The lead stopped short, no time to stop

I should have landed on my top.

Oh, I barely called out: "Jesus!"

Saw the driver's jaw drop wide.

A prayer with just the Name out

And I was on the other side!

This ain't made up, it sure ain't baloney

I'm just givin' testimony!
