When Little Is Much

Most people at some time feel inadequate in terms of who they are, what they have to offer or what they do. Yet in truth there is nothing that is insignificant. The average ant can carry 50 times its own weight, and some can carry up to 100 times their own weight. This would be akin to an average American male adult of 195.5 pounds carrying up to 19,550 pounds. Now THERE would be a Guinness record!
Horseshoes range in weight from two ounces to five pounds, yet throwing one can cause a 1,100 pound horse to stumble and become crippled.
Every man, woman and child on this earth has their own purpose and value. When any one becomes unable or unwilling to serve his purpose the world becomes that much more impoverished. No part of the collective human "body" can in honesty say to another "I/we have no need of you." Human societies have known this fact on some level from the beginning of mankind, and dismissed it at their own peril.
Little always becomes a great deal when the Lord has blessed it and can use it. I have personally witnessed the multiplication of the loaves and fish from the ministry of Jesus the Christ on a smaller scale. It is amazing, although to Him hardly a challenge.
Learn to appreciate yourself and to see yourself as God does. To discount it is to insult the One who made you and loves you with greater passion than you can possibly imagine. So stop pecking the ground with the turkeys -- it is far past time for you to join: "... those who wait on the Lord" and who "shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
As the closing to Veggie Tales has it: "And remember: God made you special, and He loves you very much!"
